The Name of Our Blog

Perhaps you are wondering why we've named our classroom blog such an unusual name.  Well we thought that we needed to find a unique name for our new group of children.  

Although we have many returning students, we have many new JKs and also quite a few SK students that are new to our class.  

So a new name was definitely in order for our blog.  

Our name evolved from an ongoing joke last year that the teachers were the "mother hens" and our students, the little chickens.  It was a source of amusement last year and the children found it to be quite hilarious at times.  

So, there you have the origin of our name.  

New year, new children, new blog!
